Hailey Herleman, PhD

SVP, Executive Engagement and Interim GTM Strategy & Operations

Hailey is Senior Vice President of Executive Engagement & Insights as well as GTM Strategy & Operations at BetterUp, where she leads our GTM consulting and advisory, customer value, and GTM Operations teams.  These teams connect the value of BetterUp with our customers’ complex organizations to maximize the business impact of human transformation through skills in business strategy, data analytics, and behavioral science.

Hailey began her career in consulting roles for Deloitte, American Institute for Research, and Kenexa focused on talent, analytics, science, and technology.  Before joining BetterUp, Hailey was a Partner in the IBM Consulting business focused on Talent & Transformation for the Healthcare & Life Sciences sector and Lead Account Partner for UnitedHealth Group.

Hailey received her Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, her MA in Applied Psychology, and her BA in Psychology from Clemson University.  She contributes to the field of I-O Psychology through various publications in books and peer reviewed journals, speaking engagements and service roles and was recognized for Distinguished Early Career Contributions to the Field, in 2019, for her work bringing together the fields of Big Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence with I-O psychology research for unique applications in practice.

Hailey lives in Frisco, Texas with her husband, teenage son and daughter, and two dogs. When she isn't working or with family she is likely practicing yoga, reading, or hiking the, very flat, land of TX.
