How did we miss this?

A week or so ago former Paragon devs have uploaded to Google Docs a copy of the fabled Lore Bible dated circa 2004. While much of the info is out of date it apparently contains the full backstory for Nemesis, the Rikti, Rularu, and other stuff.

Much of the history it contains has been retconned but the sheer volume of info should keep interested parties busy for weeks.

Go. Read. Kill skuls.

Wow, this is some amazing stuff. The amount of backstory detail is both expected and surprising.

I'm still searching through it trying to find the Lost in King's Row.

I read through a great deal of it when the thread first popped up, but I don't think it was originally posted by a dev.

The Rularu part is really neat and sheds a lot of light on the Shadow Shard.

This is very cool, but it's also a LOT of text to go through. I'll be digging through it as time permits, but I must admit - I like it! It shows me this game, at least at one point, had a competent writer in charge, one who paid great attention to backstory, continuity and so forth. I wish more of the game's content explored this story bible, because it's awesome.

Of all the things I've lost,
I think I miss my mind the most.
