About Us
Welcome to the Adversity Social Gamers website. Our community has a well-established presence in City of Heroes on the Pinnacle server but also have a presence in assorted PC and console games.
Our group is also home to several PC Gamer and Console Gamer enthusiasts. When not saving and/or destroying Paragon City, you can find us:
History!
Our community's origins can be traced back to the early days of City of Heroes, where we were founded by former players Mr. Burke, Aurelia and Merger. Since that time, many new members have joined. Several smaller groups, such as JTF7 and Team A.D.D. have merged with us, making us one of the most enduring teams on Pinnacle! Orion Pax now leads Adversity and a small team of community leads keeps its legacy alive.
For the fictional backstories of our City of Heroes hero and villain supergroups, check out the Adversity Storyline and the Animosity Storyline!
Everything is optional!
We don't force our members to play everything or participate in every event. We want our members to enjoy what we have to offer and choose what they like.
All we ask is that our members follow our motto: "Strength through Diversity! Respect and Fun!". We know each of us plays each game differently. Respect everyone and remember we are all here to have fun. We welcome mature people from anywhere in the world, and we don't discriminate over gender or sexual preference.

Our group participates heavily in our Forums to discuss a wide variety of topics. Open communication, here in our forum and on Teamspeak, is one of the keys to fun. New posts are made every day to discuss everything related to the City Games, as well as out-of-game topics, like movies, comics, gossip and more. To help our teams be the best that they can be, we host a TeamSpeak 3 server for in-game communication! All of our members are welcome to use the server and connection info is available to you anyone who posts on our forums!
How to Join!
If you would like to join us, post to our Visitors Forum to let us know! You can also join our CoH in-game recruiting channel; AdversityInfo where you'll find our recruiting officers. Note that this channel is only used for recruiting, there maybe times when there is no recruiting officer online.
